Today, Livewire stands as the largest home technology integrator in central Virginia. Clifford also co-founded Parasol, a nationwide 24/7 remote support system “for integrators, by integrators” and the CI industry training platform IntegrateU. Clifford previously served on the CEDIA Board of Directors from 2017-2019.

Manojkumar Soni is the owner and principal consultant at AV4U, a leading technology integration firm in India. His expertise includes tender design, consulting, and auditing based on International ANSI standards. He holds several industry certifications, including CEDIA ESC-D, CTS, THX, HAA, and ISF. These credentials ensure AV4U provides top-tier AV, acoustic, automation, and building management system (BMS) solutions that meet international standards. An avid volunteer, Soni plays a vital role in the CEDIA India core team. He is a CEDIA accredited presenter, trainer, and active CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI). He also dedicates his time to the CEDIA RP23 Working Group, influencing global video standards.

Bowers & Wilkins has introduced a new iteration of its iconic Zeppelin speaker, known as the Zeppelin Pro Edition, which aims to elevate the speaker’s design and performance to new heights. Launched initially in 2007, the Zeppelin has long been known for its unique ovoid shape and solid reputation as a wireless speaker. 

The Pro Edition brings a series of upgrades to both the speaker’s internal components and exterior design while maintaining the distinct look that made the original so recognizable.

Cambridge Audio has launched the EX Series, comprising the EXA100 stereo integrated amplifier and EXN100 music streamer. The EXA100 stereo integrated amplifier is the power behind the new EX Series.

Over three years in the making, and with almost 60 years of audio expertise behind it, the EX Series is the successor to Cambridge’s Azur 851 range – and EXA100 is its beating heart.

Drawing on trickledown amplifier technology from the flagship Edge M monoblock power amp, EXA100 offers a wide soundstage from 100W per channel of Class AB amplification.

A huge array of connectivity options, a built-in DAC, HDMI eARC and a dedicated Power Amp Mode make it functionally as accomplished as it sounds.

Bluetooth aptX HD is also available for added convenience, or to stream vinyl wirelessly from a Cambridge Audio Alva turntable.

Switch the EXA100 to Power Amp Mode and it transforms literally into that – a stereo power amp – so that it can be paired with the preamp of choice or used as part of a multi-channel home cinema system.

This means it can optionally be used in pre/power combination with the new EXN100 music streamer with its digital-only Preamp Mode. EXN100 provides the streaming brains and volume control, all controllable via the StreamMagic app, while EXA100 delivers power and detail. 

The EXA100 features a milled aluminium front panel and a tactile knurled volume knob. Visually it again partners perfectly with EXN100, with matching Lunar Grey finishes and a full-height centre panel that boldly cuts through the fascia.

During CEDIA Expo 2024 last month, Waterfall Audio showcased its Niagara XT range of floor-standing loudspeakers, which feature three brand-new models.

Encased within a unique fully transparent platinum safety glass enclosure (XT2 and XT3: 0.39 inches thick; XT1: 0.24 inches thick), the Niagara XT Series comes alive in natural light, subtly reflecting and refracting sunbeams throughout the day. Custom-built mid/bass Atohm drivers appear as if they are suspended in mid-air and are underpinned by an ultra-low frequency 8.3-inch passive driver in a down-firing position in the solid, CNC-cut, brushed tapered aluminum base.

Sony’s offerings are equally impressive, with the debut of the BRAVIA Projector 8 and 9, both representing a leap forward in native 4K-laser projection technology. The BRAVIA Projector 9 delivers an astonishing 3,400 lumens, while the 8 model reaches 2,700 lumens, positioning them as formidable contenders in the home theater market. A significant highlight is the upgraded processor, which enhances cinematic HDR performance, providing deeper blacks and superior detail in shadowed areas—an essential upgrade for serious film buffs. LG displayed a large-format 163-inch Fine Pitch Direct View LED display.
